How do I store my Cherries?

Store them in the refrigerator.

How long will my Cherries keep for?

Cherries will keep for up to two weeks if they are stored in the refrigerator.

Can I freeze my Cherries?

Yes you certainly can. Just place them in a freezer bag, remove the excess air, seal and freeze.

How long will it take for my cherries to arrive?

Our cherries are sent out by 4pm on the day of dispatch and they should be delivered to your door the next day. Occasionally at peak times, if the couriers are very busy, then it may take an extra day. We do endeavor to keep our customers informed to the best of our knowledge. If your address is Rural Delivery then you will need to allow an extra day.

Can Orchard Fresh send cherries to my friends and family overseas?

No, Orchard Fresh can send within New Zealand only.

Can you send two different varieties of cherries strapped together to save me on freight costs?

No we cannot do this. Varieties are dispatched individually.

Can I strap two different size boxes of cherries together – ie: 1kg and a 2kg?

No we are unable to do this as the strapping does not hold well enough on different sized boxes.

Can I take the Cherries overseas?

This is at your own risk. Some countries allow entry as hand luggage or if you declare your cherries on the declaration form. You would need to check with the Custom Limitations for the country that you are going to. We are not liable for any unaccepted entries. You would need to arrange to have your cherries delivered to your New Zealand address at least two days before your departure.
